Hole lotta fun

Let the mosh pit begin!!! Hole has walked on stage. Courtney Love, Eric
Erlandson, Patty Schemel and Melissa Auf der Maur make up this great band.
After a performance by Catherine, the opening band, and a 45-minute
waiting period so the snail-speed roadies could set up, the crowd was
plenty ready for some excitement.

Soon all it is is loud music, people screaming along to Love's vocals,
crowd surfing and moshing. I basically heard all of my favorite Hole
songs, such as Pretty on the Inside and Miss World. And there's always the
excitement of watching one of your friends fly by on a wave of hands. I
never got to try crowd surfing, primarily because the prospect of falling
on my head and missing the rest of the concert doesn't thrill me. All I
had to do was be there and hear some amazing music and I was happy. I
would have liked to hear Hole's interpretation of Duran Duran's Hungry
Like the Wolf but that's okay. I'm sure I was one of many who woke up
lacking any resemblance of a voice, too.

Overall, I had a fantastic time. Hole is an awesome band and the members
deserve all the recognition that they get. I would definitely have paid
more than $ 17 to see them. I probably wouldn't have paid a cent to see
Catherine, but I didn't pay to see them. I went to see one of the best
bands out there. And I did.
